Ballon framing: the name comes because it is simple, andi t was feared that it was going to be blown away by the wind.Easy to asemble, no need of previous preparation. Disadvantages:
the lack of a working platform;
the requiremetne for long framing members;
will have a central bearing wall
Platform framing: very common in USA and Canada. Repaced the ballon framing technique. wood was no longer used and concrete gained force.
